New Roboflex 19 Automatic Bending Cell Latest developments from Eaton Leonard include the revolutionary Roboflex 19 tube bending system. Using a six-axis robot as the heart of the system, Roboflex can easily produce complex part shapes, not possible on a conventional CNC bender. The bending module can be ordered as an all-electric version, for clean, quiet operation, without the need for hydraulics. Since all of the tube positioning is performed using the robot, Roboflex is capable of bending hybrid tubes with hoses, parts requiring clockwise and counterclockwise rotations, forming both long and short part shapes and parts with extremities attached prior to bending. Roboflex is ideal for automatically bending tubes which have been assembled with brackets, flanges, hoses and endforms. Typical applications include assembled air conditioning tubes, power steering tubes, brake lines and gas tubes.
Eaton Leonard Establishes New Division in Mexico Furthering our commitment to support the market in Mexico, we have opened a new sales and manufacturing facility known as Eaton Leonard Mexico. Located in Queretaro, a dedicated team of sales, engineering and manufacturing personnel has been assembled to provide exceptional customer support. This Eaton Leonard facility houses service components and manufactures tube endforming equipment. The facility is managed by Mr. Nicolas Dunand, who has been with Eaton Leonard for more than five years. Mr. Dunand has a background in industrial engineering, sales and marketing. New Eaton Leonard Office in China Eaton Leonard has opened an office in Shanghai, China for sales and support of our tube forming and measuring products. The Shanghai office, managed by Sales & Marketing manager, Mr. Peter Liang, will support customers in all Asian countries. Mr. Liang has been involved in the tube bending industry for approximately eight years and has a Doctorate degree in Material Science and Engineering, with concentration on mechanical engineering and metallurgy. New VB 42 ELEC CNC Tube Bender A new 1.50” capacity CNC electric tube bender is now available from Eaton Leonard. Similar to the model VB 25 ELEC, this machine includes several useful features, including position-controlled pressure die, position-controlled pressure die assist and reversible bend arm rotation. Precision, hardened linear roller bearings are used for all moving slides for smooth, precise positioning and durability. The VB 42 ELEC bend arm design is extremely compact, ideal for maximum clearance when bending intricate part shapes. Its efficient bend arm drive system incorporates a proven parallel linkage, powered by a high torque servo motor with fast, dynamic response. Machine programming and monitoring are easily accomplished through the Eaton Leonard Lightspeed touch screen interface. This versatile, powerful control uses a PC-based processor and commercially available I/O. Interface to Eaton Leonard’s Vector 1 tube data center is standard and the machine includes network interface capability.	Back to top
